This fun tradition gives students a chance to grab a sweet treat or warm drink while supporting their peers who are working hard to make a positive impact. From community outreach to service initiatives, these projects help our students learn the value of leadership, service, and giving back.

“I get to work with the best students! In our agriculture program, we don’t just learn in the classroom—we get to take that knowledge into the real world. Students gain first-hand experience caring for animals, understanding crops, and learning what it truly takes to put food on our tables.
Recently, our students had the chance to care for a bottle calf and a bottle goat, practicing the skills they’ll use to educate the public about agriculture and food production. Moments like these equip our students to become knowledgeable leaders and ambassadors for our industry." -- Mr. Swafford, Cascade High School FFA Sponsor
Hands-on learning, real-world application, and amazing students—this is why we choose BCS! 👏

Thank you for continuing to support our students and helping make these experiences special for them. We look forward to seeing our Champion families at many of our spring events! 🌼📣

There was a little extra excitement in Mrs. Nix’s Art class during a fun show-and-tell moment! Abby Baird and Briley Boyce shared some “turtle power” with their classmates and weren’t shell-fish about spreading a little turtle love.
Moments like these help make the classroom a place where creativity, curiosity, and community come together. Whether creating art or sharing interests, our students continue to make Cascade High School a great place to learn and grow.
Great job, Champions! 👏

🧪🔬 Science in action at Cascade High School! 🔬🧪
Students in Mr. Hrouda’s Chemistry class stepped into the role of forensic scientists during a recent lab investigation. Their mission: determine whether a bottle contained pure distilled water or a mixture such as tap water.
Rather than simply accepting a claim, students relied on measurable scientific evidence. By examining intrinsic properties like density, freezing point, and conductivity, they learned how these characteristics act as the “fingerprints” of matter because they remain constant regardless of sample size.
Through hands-on investigation and critical thinking, students experienced how chemistry plays an important role in real-world forensic science. Great work, Champions! 👏🧑🔬
