Our third and fifth graders had the opportunity to explore our solar system and beyond, seeing each planet up close, discovering constellations in our galaxy, and even learning about other galaxies across the universe. Mr. Hix has a unique way of making complex concepts relatable and engaging for all learners.
Each class was able to dive deeper into our science standards, and it was a wonderful review as we head into state testing. We are so grateful for the memorable and meaningful experience he provided for our students. 🧑🚀⭐️🌖

Recently, we partnered with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive to collect NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world, and because of your generosity, BCS collected an incredible 651 pairs! 👏✨
These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.
We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento #students.
