The theme for this year's Summer Learning Camp at Cascade Elementary is Community Heroes, Celebrating 250 years of America. Students and teachers have had weeks devoted to various community heroes, dress up days, watermelon social, ice cream sundaes, guest speakers including the K-9 police unit, bingo for books, field trips to the Capri Theatre and Tennessee State Museum/Capitol Building, Ice cream truck, Kona Ice, a visit by a Fire Truck, and inflatables for Fun in the Sun day!
